Build With AI · the workbook
What are the repetitive jobs in your business actually costing you?
This workbook walks you through listing every computer-based job in your business that eats more than an hour a week, who does it and what their time costs. It adds the hours and pounds up for you, so by the end you can see exactly what automating those jobs would hand back every month.
It is free, it saves as you go, and you can come back to it whenever you like. If you are booked on the Build With AI course, this IS your pre-course prep: your answers are what your intake's modules get planned from, so please finish it at least a week before your first session.
- Takes twenty to thirty minutes, in plain English
- A running total of the hours and pounds on the table
- Nothing technical is expected of you at any point
- Your link is emailed to you, so you can add to it any time
- On the course, it becomes your checklist: tick jobs off as you automate them
Why the numbers matter
The Build With AI course costs £595 + VAT. Fill this in honestly and most people find their repetitive jobs cost far more than that every single month, which is why attendees typically cover the cost of the course in their first month, in saved hours and saved wages. The workbook shows you your own number.
Two things worth knowing before you start
Automation and AI are not the same thing. Most of what makes business systems valuable is plain automation: fetching, moving, checking and totting up, on a schedule, for free. AI earns its place in the two or three steps where something has to be read, judged or written. Good systems are mostly automation with a little AI where it counts.
Do not filter your list. A job you assume cannot be helped is often the easiest win in the room. Include the ones you do, the ones your staff do, and the ones you pay somebody outside the business to do.
What the workbook asks you
Three parts, none of them technical. If you can describe how your business works out loud, you can do all of this.
Your job audit
Every computer-based job that takes more than an hour a week, broken into its steps, with who does it and what their time costs. The workbook turns each one into pounds and hours per month. Aim for at least ten: most businesses that do this honestly find fifteen or twenty.
Three questions
What would you love to build, what would you most like to automate, and what do you want to be able to do yourself by the end. A sentence or two each, and "I don't know yet" is a perfectly good answer.
Your module picks
Tick the ready-made course modules that appeal: quoting and sales, marketing and enquiries, money and reporting, jobs and scheduling. And tell us anything else you want covered: if enough of the room shares it, it becomes part of the course.
See what those hours could be doing instead
Build With AI runs over eight weeks, in Worthing or online, and teaches you to automate the jobs in your workbook yourself. £595 + VAT, 20 places per intake.
